House on Haven Hill’s Day Care services provide more than just supervision. We offer a creative variety of indoor and outdoor games and activities. Examples of our indoor activities include arts and crafts, culinary, table games and puzzles, balloon volleyball, balloon pop with darts and movies. Outdoor activities include country walks, archery, rides in our utility vehicle with us, Frisbee toss, disc golf, bocce ball and more. All activities are individually tailored to the interests and abilities of our guests and we frequently add new resources and activities to ensure that activities are consistently enjoyable and beneficial for our guests. Our caregivers, associates and staff represent a dedicated and capable team. We ask that our guests wear non-slip soles so that they can participate safely and enjoyably in all activities.
As an RN, Nancy manages medications and dietary needs, monitors health status, keeps records to a higher standard than required by our State license, and provides our guests’ primary caregivers with daily written descriptions of activities and observations.
We invite guests to come for any duration of time from a few hours to a few days. To ensure high quality experiences for each of our clients/guests, we provide care for no more than five guests at a time and we provide additional staff as needed to meet our guests’ individual needs. All meals and snacks during our guests’ stay are included.
Our facility features an open, flexible floor plan and handicap-friendly bathrooms with an ADA-compliant shower. We tailor the dining experience to the needs and preferences of our guests, including special diets. We work with Oregon and county agencies and licensed service brokerages which provide funding for services to developmentally disabled people and we are willing to work with insurance or other financial aid providers when applicable.
