Keith provides first aid, CPR and AED training using the Medic First Aid family of training programs, an internationally recognized training program which is regularly updated to incorporate the latest first aid standards and adult learning practices. The classes are presented in a relaxed learning environment using professionally produced video segments, demonstrations of techniques by the facilitator/instructor and hands-on practice with manikins and role-playing. There is no testing involved so the focus is on learning lifesaving skills rather than on passing a test. To ensure a low-stress learning environment and an adequate level of attention to all students, we limit the class size to a maximum of 12.
The Medic First Aid courses that Keith teaches include Basic CPR and First Aid, proper AED usage, and Pediatric CPR and First Aid. Keith, a retired forester, has over 25 years of experience facilitating these courses for his former employer and as a community service. Keith will conduct classes at your facility and some classes may be scheduled at House on Haven Hill. For training enquiries, email HavenHillTraining@q.com.
