As caregivers to intellectually/developmentally and physically disabled people and elderly people, we understand that you want your loved-one, friend or client to have enjoyable and memorable experiences uncompromised by their disability.
House on Haven Hill is in a delightful location with beautiful country views, a large deck for outdoor living space, and a great room with open floor plan which can easily be rearranged for different activities and to meet the particular needs of our guests. We have bird feeders, a berry farm and our resident dog Xena (who remains outside) so that your loved ones will enjoy their time here.
To ensure the safety of our guests Nancy, the owner and primary caregiver, is a licensed RN and is always available. Central heat and air conditioning keep the house at an even temperature to keep our guests comfortable and a cozy wood stove provides that special kind of warmth that only a wood stove can give. Our bathrooms are handicap-friendly and the private bathroom for the guest room has an ADA handicap accessible shower.
Nancy provides a wide variety of fun activities for the guests and caters our offerings per your loved one’s interests and abilities. We feature a variety of arts and crafts activities, we sponsor athletic and board games and we provide cooking and baking opportunities. The guests at House on Haven Hill are encouraged to both participate in the activities most suited to their interests and develop new interests.
