About Us

Our essential purpose at House on Haven Hill is to serve God faithfully as followers of Jesus Christ. This means that we treat all people with integrity, respect and dignity and serve them with excellence. We bring this philosophy to interactions with all people and are dedicated to honesty and excellence by practicing “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control” (from Galatians 5:23). We invite all of our clients and guests to hold us accountable for upholding these standards.

We are committed to supporting all of our participants and staff to the best of our ability because people matter to us at House on Haven Hill. At House on Haven Hill, we are committed to supporting the physical, intellectual, spiritual and emotional health of our clients through relationships, meaningful activities and interactions.

Our services include assistance with activities of daily living, beneficial physical exercise, activities that help keep our guests mentally active, competent medical care, and healthy, home-cooked food. We believe that God has blessed us with these capabilities and resources to help others. We admire and support families who lovingly accept the responsibility to care for adult loved ones in need.

Nancy, the owner and operator of House on Haven Hill, is a licensed RN who brings nearly thirty years of experience as a nurse to her business. She has the skills and passion to provide hospitality and advanced care to her guests. She knows how to put a smile on peoples’ faces, even if they are shy, withdrawn or reluctant to be here. Her palliative, sensitive nature quickly dispels guests’ concerns and makes sure the experience is enjoyable and unique. Nancy has worked with intellectually/developmentally disabled individuals of all ages, has psych nursing experience, and is trained in meeting the physical and emotional needs of medically involved and medically fragile people.

Nancy and Keith live at the facility and are always available for the guests. In addition to Nancy’s skills as an RN, Keith brings over twenty-five years of experience as a first aid/CPR instructor, and also offers Medic First Aid training—including CPR, First Aid, AED, and Pediatric CPR and First Aid.
